Electronic images – It always helps if visitors can preview artworks (it also increases your chance of getting a sale!). Please send us an electronic image of your item if possible so it can be added to our website. All electronic images should preferably be a jpg file of between 1 and 2 mb. Poor quality images, while still suitable for exhibition, will have less chance of being selected for use in any publicity or promotions

All image files need to be clearly identified with the title of the art work and the artist’s name. Images can be forward at any time prior to the opening of the Show to news@kinglakeartshow.com.au.

Entry forms must be received no later than September 22 at 7 pm – Entries are being taken online through Gallery 247. Remember If you send a photo of an exhibit beforehand it will appear on our website and can be used for promotional purposes in social media – that increases the chance of a sale for you.

Actual exhibits are to be delivered to Kinglake Community Centre, Cnr Extons Road and Whittlesea-Kinglake Road, Kinglake Central on Thursday October 7 between 12 noon and 6 pm.

All creations will be hung or displayed on Thursday night prior to judging on Friday October 8. Opening night will be at 6.30 pm for 7 pm start on the same day. Prize getters will receive a phone call confirming their attendance….. that’s why it is so important to put your mobile phone number on your entry form. If you cannot attend, please ensure you nominate someone who is coming to receive your prize.

Exhibits are to be collected on Sunday October 10 between 4 pm and 6 pm only. If you can’t make it during that time slot, please arrange for someone to collect your items for you. The Community Centre must be vacated that night as there are other activities during the week. We have no capacity to hold uncollected items.

Great new display stands for our beautiful quilts thanks to the Ranges Foundation

Sales commission is 20% and payments will be sent by direct deposit to bank account nominated no later than October 31 to allow clearance of any cheques etc.

We welcome descriptions of no more than 100 words which will be printed and placed beside the exhibit. This could tell the viewer what inspired your artwork, the particular media used or any other information you deem pertinent to knowing the background of the piece.

Any queries, please give us a yell to be sorted out prior to the crazy days of October 7 to 10.
