ARTIST BIO

I studied art as a teenager with Ruth Tuck and Mervyn Smith, winning a number of prizes.  I sold a  number of works in my late teens.

Moving into the Corporate world my artistic pursuits took a back seat, however in the late 80s-early 90s I became involved with the early computer graphics programs of the times, eventually morphing into a computer graphic designer for around 3 years. During this period I produced quite a few corporate presentations, artworks and publications. I also produced an album cover for an independent musician, a cover for a science fiction novel as well as commercial and political advertising works.

Spending the next 20 years as a Business Banker and then leaving that career, I now have the time and artistic passion to pursue my life long love of art. A trip to New York City in 2016 and visits to MOMA, The Guggenheim, The Neue, The Frick Collection and Sotheby's stirred my creative soul.

Now, using my computer graphic, design and tactile art skills, I am capturing images of the real world and creating my Surrealistic images on canvas in oils and acrylics.
